LU 716 Houston, TX - Work is good with calls going into book 2. Projects consist of both commercial & industrial & include hospitals, multi-story tower building, BP multi-story downtown remodel, 42 story high end condos, parking garage & university stadium. There is also a 350 acre EXXON project that includes a parking garage, data center & power distribution center. A few calls require Texas JW license, but most can get by with purchasing Apprentice license. OSHA 10 is required on EXXON job & 3 ding system is in effect.

LU 130 New Orleans, LA - Calls going into book 2 daily. Variety of ongoing projects obtained through market recovery with 19 different scales in the jurisdiction with some requiring city license, OSHA 10 or TWIC card. Usually putting wiremen straight to work if they have credentials & are able to work for the job rate. Work includes VA hospital, Steel Mill, UMC medical center, waste water treatment plants, grocery stores, schools & prison project. Call hall for details.

LU 257 Jefferson City, MO - Calls going into book 2. Upcoming projects includes pipeline pump station, Thomas Hill powerhouse & work at Rolla College. Callaway outage scheduled for Fall 2014.

LU 613 Atlanta, GA - A few calls still going into book 2. Powerhouse in Rome, GA hiring for fixture replacement job complete but Bowen powerhouse expected to hire this year. Local is also having trouble filling lower wage calls ($23.72) for a pharmaceutical site.

LU 640 Phoenix, AZ - Cascade project expected to hire 200 wireman over the next several weeks. Intel has slowed down but should ramp up again soon. USAA headquarters ongoing but not taking a lot of manpower at the current time.

LU 602 Amarillo, TX - Book 1 & 2 is clear with open calls available. Most projects are working overtime & consist of office buildings & commercial work. Midland area into Book 2 as well & more calls expected soon for control work. Day Book.

LU 649 Alton, IL - Conoco Phillips Refinery starting to man up with more calls expected. Shutdown scheduled for March.

LU 22 Omaha, NE - Calls have started to come back in & going into book 2. Sachs & Thompson expected to continue to hire over the next several months. Miller picked up another building at the Google project & work is expected to hire over the next several months. Other upcoming work includes a hospital, cancer research center, financial investment data center & other local work. MUST have Iowa state license or unclassified license & OSHA-10 within the last 5 years in hand to take referral. All other local calls require a Nebraska state license.

LU 776 Charleston, SC - Work is good with calls going into book 2. Projects include MMK Data Center, Airport, Steel Mill & work at local Military Base. OSHA 10 & voided check for direct deposit needed on most calls.

LU 917 Meridian, MS - Local work is good. Powerhouse calls still coming in with more expected. Job is paying $50/day per diem.

LU 861 Lake Charles, LA - Casino project hiring & refinery working some overtime. Work is expected to pick up for the rest of the year and projected to continue into 2014. Nomex, Twic, no beards, area safety card, and visual drug testing.

LU 498 Traverse City, MI - Lots of short calls coming in and a few long calls to oil fields. Local work mostly consists of small commercial, compression stations & paper mill. A lot of lower scale work expected to last throughout the winter ($20 - $20.28) for old state hospital remodel. Duration of 12-16 months on project with possibility of some overtime.

LU 347 Des Moines, IA - Calls going into Book 2 as several jobs nearing completion & working overtime. Projects include continuing work at Ford Dodge & Microsoft & Facebook data center. State license required on most projects, however a B license can be obtained through the City.

LU 428 Bakersfield, CA - A lull in calls over the last few weeks should be coming to an end. Permit issues holding up projects has been resolved & hiring should start in the next several weeks with two 220 Mega Watt solar jobs starting simultaneously. Projects are mostly 40 hours with sporadic overtime. Solar work should continue to the next three years. Most calls require a State License unless hired directly by a general contractor who has the option not to require.

LU 95 Joplin, MO - Mercy Hospital project has around 120-130 wiremen on it and is manned up at the present time. Scrubber project has hired a few & more calls expected. Other work includes a new high school, dog food plant & other small commercial jobs. Riverton powerhouse job scheduled for next year in late Spring/early summer.

LU 271 Wichita, KS - Paynecrest & Decker Electric continuing to hire for ethanol plant in Hugoton and going into Book 2. Job is paying $60 a day per diem. Other projects include airport terminal, HLS building & various remodels downtown. Ding system is now in effect.

LU 584 Tulsa, OK - Book 1 is clear. Google project still going strong & expected to hire more. Arc suppression & refinery jobs are ongoing. Pipeline work in Osage county expected to man up in late October. Other work includes glass plants, Keystone pipeline work, wind farms, and several more powerhouses. MAY OBTAIN AN APPRENTICE LICENSE AT HALL IN LEIU OF STATE LICENSE TO TAKE CALL.

LU 714 Minot, ND - Calls have been going unfilled, while most calls require a state license or apprentice license, powerhouse calls do not.
